Opportunity InformationSutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks a full-time, Integrative Medicine Physician to join our growing Institute for Health & Healing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician passionate about delivering holistic, patient‑centered care within a high‑functioning, multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a broad range of patient conditions using integrative and functional medicine principles, values collaborative care, and is dedicated to improving patient well-being through conventional and complementary approaches.
Opportunity Highlights
- Flexible schedule: 4- or 5‑day workweek options
- Hybrid work environment: Minimum 2 onsite clinic days per week
- Diverse case mix: Providers act as general integrative medicine specialists and may optionally develop a focused area of interest
- Group visits: Available but not required
- No traditional call: Monthly rotating inbox coverage for providers on vacation
- Full support staff: MA, RN, administrative, and integrative specialists

Qualifications
Required
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Board‑certified by an ABMS specialty and certified in the specialty in which they are practicing OR Board certified in Integrative Medicine by the American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS)
- Unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in integrative/holistic medicine
Preferred
- Fellowship training in integrative or functional medicine
- Experience in lifestyle medicine, mind‑body medicine, nutrition, or related fields
- Commitment to whole-person, patient-centered care
